Employee Spotlight: Jen Rybicki

Rocket Industrial's Employee Spotlight series highlights a different employee every month, offering an inside look at our company culture and the awesome people who work here.

This month’s employee spotlight features Fulfillment Supervisor, Jen Rybicki. Jen has worked at Rocket for over 3 years and in her time here, has been a vital resource for our warehouses. Not only does Jen manage shipping and receiving, pick customer orders, and drive trucks to make deliveries from our Illinois warehouse, she also manages our other warehouse locations throughout the United States.

What is something you are proud to have accomplished at Rocket?

I am most proud of the opportunities and knowledge I have gained during my time at Rocket. I have challenged myself and learned the purchasing role to assist in ordering for the Illinois warehouse. The knowledge that I have gained through my role has allowed me to become a resource for fellow employees and our company.

How has the packaging industry changed during your time at Rocket?

During my time at Rocket, I have seen the packaging industry adapt to more sustainable solutions. I have seen shipments and deliveries come to warehouses in more sustainable packaging, which is especially important in our line of work. I am proud to work at a company that cares about the environment and am excited to see future sustainable solutions for the packaging industry.

What do you like to do in your free time?

In my free time, I most enjoy spending time with my family. As a family, we like to go kayaking, fishing, and spend time outside around the campfire.

Any other fun facts?

I live on the river and enjoy listening to and watching the river life while sitting in my backyard. During the summer, there are flocks of pelicans that float down the river, something I enjoy watching each year.
