Operation Packaging Care was a great success! Thank you to everyone who contributed to our donation drive! We boxed up 190 pounds of donated items to send to the deployed troops of the 147th Air Wing based out of Madison.
We would like to thank our clients and friends who donated. A huge thank you to our sponsors Intertape Polymer Group, Great Northern Corporation, and Shopko Foundation for their support. Also, a special thank you to Noah Anderson, who helped coordinate a donation drive at his school as well as having students write thank you letters to the troops thanking them for their service.
The goal of Operation Packaging Care is to provide service members some much needed supplies and to let them know how much we appreciate them. Thousands of area families are separated during the holidays from a family member serving our military overseas and we hope to bring a little bit of holiday cheer to these service members. We are looking forward to continuing this drive annually and providing care packages to a different group every holiday season.
