Helping the Heroes of COVID-19

Helping the Heroes of COVID-19

As a company that is dedicated to helping others, Rocket Industrial has taken action to support our community. Although we cannot supply all that is needed during this time, we are providing as much as we can, and hope that you will join us.

Personal Protective Equipment

As we all know, there is a shortage in the amount of PPE that is required to fight this virus. Rocket Industrial does not have an abundance of these supplies, but we have donated as much as possible to our local hospitals, Marshfield Clinic and Aspirus. The hundreds of N95 masks, Nitrile Gloves, Tyvek coats, and protective glasses that we have donated will be distributed to the areas that need it most to ensure health and safety. We hope that others will join this movement and donate their overstock items as well.

Donations

Rocket Industrial realizes that we do not all have the physical resources to donate but hope that we can all help. Many organizations are accepting monetary donations to respond to the global pandemic. Some of these organizations include the CDC Foundation, United Way, American Red Cross, and Feeding America. Through the caring and generosity of others, we can make a change.

How You Can Help

With a limited number of facemasks for patients in hospitals, many community members have begun sewing them. One of our team members shared the instructions and pattern with us, so we would like to pass this information along. All help matters.

From the CDC regarding homemade masks - "In settings where facemasks are not available, HCP might use homemade masks for care of patients with COVID-19 as a last resort. However, homemade masks are not considered PPE, since their capability to protect HCP is unknown. Caution should be exercised when considering this option. Homemade masks should ideally be used in combination with a face shield that covers the entire front (that extends to the chin or below) and sides of the face."

Thank You

Lastly, we would like to say thank you to everyone that is at the front line of this pandemic. It’s the commitment and generosity from you that will get us through this testing time. Let’s come together and show how we can all make a difference. We're in this together.
